Jensen Chernoff Thompson Architects (JCTA) was established in 2005 as a partnership of corporations of Jensen Group Architects Inc. (JGA) and Chernoff Thompson Architects (CTA). The two companies share similar philosophies and values regarding design approach and service delivery.  Over the past thirteen years JCTA has undertaken a number of Vancouver Island projects Including work at the University of Victoria, Camosun College and since 2012 at Royal Roads University where we have completed the award-winning Learning and Innovation Centre.

Much of our success can be attributed to the fact that both partner firms have developed around the view that clients expect a consultant to be reliable and accessible and respond to questions in a timely manner - the concept of ‘hands-on’ practice. We do our best to listen to what you have to say and design to meet your goals while remaining prudent with your finances.

JCTA is founded on the philosophy of providing personal and quality service to clients. To this end at least one principal is always involved throughout the entire project. Jensen Chernoff Thompson Architects have the experience, abilities and most of all the commitment to undertake this project. Throughout the years we have established a reputation with our clients for providing well designed buildings on time and on budget that meet and exceed their needs.

CTA with its’ main office located in Vancouver, BC established in 1981 has three owner/principals - Russ Chernoff, Naomi Gross and Tony Yip, and a total of 35 staff. CTA’s experience covers a wide range of institutional projects including Civic, University, Health Care and Research.  Go to External link opens in new tab or windowCTA website
